Key Features
NIRS™ DA1650 Feed Analyser
IP 65 Certified
The NIRS™ DA1650 is purpose built for your feed operation.
Get your results where you need them – at the production line. The sealed DDA platform withstands vibration, dust or spills that can occur during regular use by plant operators. The NIRS™ DA1650 has been designed for high performance in the hardest production environments: Ambient temperature 5-40 °C, storage temperature -20 °C to 70 °C and ambient humidity <93% RH.
Versatile Sample Presentation
Measure whole grains, flour, cakes, meals and other solid samples in the normal sample holder, and then use the unique gold reflector cup for oil for the next sample. The intuitive touch screen interface makes it fast and easy for any user to switch between sample types.
FossAssure™
FossAssure™ is a NIRS™ DA1650 digital service designed to reduce product waste, secure brand protection and increase profitability by ensuring the quality and precision of your analytical results. Besides, FossAssure™ services will also improve instrument uptime and reduce production costs by optimising the operation and the performance of your instruments.
ANN Calibrations
Because your new NIRS™ DA1650 analyser comes pre-calibrated, you can get straight down to work with no additional costs.
Global Artificial Neural Network (ANN) calibrations cover a variety of grains, fresh forage and feed ingredients. Results for key parameters such as protein, moisture and ash are delivered simultaneously in seconds to an accuracy matching reference analysis.

Brand
FOSS creates end-to-end solutions that secure and improve food quality. From raw material to finished product. Our analysis instruments refine measurements into information management that enables businesses to run intelligent data-driven productions with less waste and bigger yields. Controlling cost and quality across all sectors and value chains, we help food and agricultural producers limit the number of human errors, scale their business faster and reduce manual labor as well as labor costs. We call it analytics beyond measure.
We cover these food and agricultural industries: Dairy, Feed and Forage, Grain, Flour Milling & Oilseed Processing, Laboratories, Meat, Raw Milk Testing and Wine.
Over the last 60 years, we have made it our business to define the standard of analytical solutions for the food and agricultural industry. We pioneered advanced analysis for the challenging production environments in the 1960’s, and we were the first to integrate chemical composition analysis in process lines. Now our resolve and ambition have also made us the international benchmark in the field of chemometrics and real time analytics.
